Ojal\u00e1 esto pase m\u00e1s seguido, por el bien de la m\u00fasica y de los que escuchamos m\u00fasica y de todos los seres humanos a lo largo y ancho del planeta tierra y por el bien de la humanidad y de los esp\u00edritus y de los \u00e1ngeles y… \u00a1Estoy d\u00e1ndoles una clase de como hablar tanta paja como si estuviera conduciendo un infomercial!.<\/p>\n

El punto es que Nine Inch Nails, al igual que Radiohead, ha mandado a freir esp\u00e1rragos a las disqueras y nos obsequia su nuevo disco The Slip en su P\u00e1gina Web. El archivo del disco pesa 86 MB. y se los descargan de manera sencilla, solo deben colocar un mail, enviarle el disco como regalo a tres panas y, en una media hora, les llega un link de descarga con una clave para que se lo bajen. Yo ya lo hice, y mientras escribo esto estoy escuchando el primer tema: 999.999. Ma\u00f1ana les comento el disco completo. As\u00ed que h\u00e1ganlo ustedes y rueguen porque las bandas empiezen a hacer esto con m\u00e1s frecuencia. <\/p>\n

Les dije que hoy se los comentaba y aqu\u00ed estoy: Primero les cuento que el documento PDF es el arte del disco. <\/p>\n

The Slip es un disco que podr\u00eda reconciliar a los fan\u00e1ticos m\u00e1s trancaos de NIN con Reznor, luego de acusar al pana de venderse y de hacer discos comerciales y blah, blah, blah. En lo personal, pienso que With Teeth (el disco que fue acusado de ser comercial mediocre y cuantas cosas m\u00e1s) fue un disco genial. Yo lo tengo en mi lista de \u00e1lbumes favoritos, es la combinaci\u00f3n perfecta de rabia, tristeza, odio, sadismo y al mismo tiempo es un \u00e1lbum terso, dulce, trabajado, meticuloso, el disco de un artista.(1) En particular, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de The Hand That Feet me quedo con All The Love In The World, y con Every Day… cuya letra es genial, perfecta para ambientar uno de esos d\u00edas de \u00f1o\u00f1a en que quieres morirte, pero sigue y seguir\u00e1s vivo. <\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n hay otro temazo all\u00ed que es el que cierra el disco Right Where It Belongs, otra letra memorable. <\/p>\n

Year Zero es tambi\u00e9n un buen disco aunque a mi no me lleg\u00f3 tanto como With Teeth. No he o\u00eddo Ghost, as\u00ed que pas\u00e9 directo de Year Zero a \u00e9ste. The Slip no es lo mejor de NIN, pero si tiene sus temazos. Luego de un intro 999,999 y el primer tema 1,000,000 llega Letting You, un co\u00f1azo de m\u00fasica, dur\u00edsimo, a todo volumen por favor. Discipline es Only segunda parte, la misma bater\u00eda, el mismo sonsonete, solo que al principio del tema Reznor hace un amague al empezar. Echoplex tiene un buen intro, unos beats dan paso al bajo y la voz de Reznor. Head Down tambi\u00e9n te hace cosquilla en los oidos tiene un bajo vibrante e inquietante. Light In The Sky y Corona Radiata juegan a la instrumentaci\u00f3n y al experimento. En particular Corona Radiata es un tema perfecto a las doce de la noche en silencio y con una buena dosis de tristeza en el pecho. Y aqu\u00ed el disco decae, viene The Four Of Us Are Dying, un innecesario tema intrumental, no es malo, pero si resulta repetitivo a esta altura del disco, cierra todo con Demond Seed, Un tema descartable.<\/p>\n

A caballo regalado no se le ven colmillos, y supongo que estos temas de gratis son lo bastante buenos como para quejarnos. <\/p>\n
